EDM Copper electrodes are high strength Electrolytic copper. They undergo special advance processes to obtain optimum results for EDMing by providing high material removal rate & low wear rate. As every single electrode plate is ultra-sonic tested for porosity, its machining performance is guaranteed.

The thin gauge ( 0.5mm to 0.7mm thickness ) copper tubing is generally used as refrigeration tube as it is economical and strong. The thicker gauge ( 0.9mm to 1.5mm thickness ) copper tubing is used in underground works and works with heavy duty requirements including hot and cold water services, gas services, sanitary plumbing, heating, offshore marine applications and general engineering.

For heating installation under severe conditions & for general purpose plumbing & underground usage. Type K or L copper tube is used where safety standards for oxygen and other positive-pressure medical gases are involved, in which case the tube must be suitably cleaned and plugged.

Alloy C17200 is a precipitation hardened alloy with good thermal conductivity. It has the strength & hardness similar to that of steel with superb spring properties, good corrosion resistance, non-sparking, non-magnetic superior wear & anti-galling properties, high fatigue strength & toughness under harsh condition. Alloy C17500 has high thermal conductivity combines with good hardness and high temperature strength.
